Some years ago I started writing a fictional book based on my many years in the music industry called THE BIZ (sub: It's only rock'n'roll and I HATE it!). I showed what I had written to date to my good friend Dr Liz Williams a well known writer, and she liked it and could see potential as a "script!

The book highlights what really goes on in the sordid world of A & R (Artiste and Repetoire) within major record labels and how people are used and abused, taken in and spat-out by these "A & R" individuals.

So I got to thinking.....

Rock'n'roll sells, and I wouldn't mind spending a bit of time converting the book into a screenplay if we had some serious interest, so who wants to help?

What I am looking for is a GOOD screenplay writer who has a bit of time on his/her hands to help me finish the project and convert to a script that can be pitched to the big money boys!!

Yes I know, chance in a million and all that - but hey it's those long shots that sometimes mean the difference between the rented bedroom and the stately home lol! I do have a few "CONTACTS"!

The Glastonbury Wickerman Festival

Strange things go on in small west country towns, things that the common person never hears about and probably wouldn’t believe.

Well on Tuesday, Glastonbury Radio will be coming LIVE from the St Dupers Day Glastonbury Wicker Man Festival and meeting some of the participants including Lord Glastonbury who has given us special permission to broadcast live, this until now secret ceremony that allegedly contains the sacrifice of a local businessman to Wenar - the legendary King of the Fairies.

The whole ceremony starts at 11 a.m. on Tuesday morning and will be live until the ceremony concludes at the top of Glastonbury Tor at Midday and you can hear it all live as it happens on Glastonbury Radio.
