There are forces at play out there beyond the imagination of most of you reading this, forces with the power to change landscapes, coastlines, seas and oceans, and create earthquakes, volcanic eruptions and sever weather changes.
It's not just about pollution and "global warming/cooling" - it's about saving our planet and the future of our young.

I have seen an alleged FUTURE map of the UK shown to me by two different people who do not know each other as far as I am aware. Both show NOTHING south of Yorkshire by 2020 - if this were to be so - just sit back for a moment and imagine the consequences. The American map shows no California or Arizona, and the pacific coast appearing along the mid-west!

At this time of the year, many of us are thinking about new years resolutions and what the coming year may hold for us. We always hope the new year will bring better luck and good fortune, although it rarely does.
As for resolutions, most of us NEVER keep to them more than a few days, so I really don't bother these days. Although I do need a new challenge for 2009 and a bit of good luck lol! I also need to lose some weight! Christmas has been heavy on the waistline!
Looking at 2009 ahead of us, what with the "doom and gloom forecasts" of the recession, it doesn't seem that good fortune is on the cards for many of us and in fact for many, it could mean financial ruin and hardship ahead.
A lot of people bought Christmas on their credit cards and will see the bills for this starting to hit hard in January, I'm glad I'm not one of those - I HATE credit cards!!
I think that if we all think positively about the economy and about our futures then we can fend the worst of this off, but alas to many people read the tabloids and believe everything they read! Maybe this "recession" is brought about by this devious government of ours, to force us into the changes THEY want to make - including switching to the "Euro" instead of the British Pound. I guess time will tell!
